How To Run A Car Show In The Mahoning Valley
1. Choose a day/night when there not a lot of other show going on
-Don't Pick A Day When There is 3 or more shows going on
2. Keep Prices For Registration Low
-Anything Above $10 is too much, half of the cars in this area won't attend or will come & not register
3. Have Dash Plaques & Goodie Bags For Cars Registered
-First 50,100, 125 Cars Registered, Depending The Number Of Cars You Are Expecting
4. Have Door Prizes, 50/50 Raffle & Chinese Auction
-Do 2-3 Prizes On The 50/50 example: 1. Prize Gets The Money 2. Prize Gets A Gas Card 3. Prize Gets A Tool,
- Variety Of Items For The Chinese Auction, Not Just Car Related
-Google Search Car Show Donations, Fill The Forms Out, & You'll Get A lot Of Prizes, & Stuff For Goodie Bags Free
- Give a Door Prize Out Every 1/2hr
5. Keep Spectators Cars Away From The Show Cars
-Block A Portion Of The Parking Lot Off For Show Car Parking Using Cones, Caution Tape, etc
6. Have A Couple Trophies For The Winners
-Peoples Choice, Luck Of The Draw Or Have Someone Judge Them
7. Hire A DJ With Experience In Car Shows
-Big Rick, Thomas John, Richie D, Crazy Dave, John F Rhoper. The Crowd Is Use To Hearing Them Play At Car Shows
8. List The Show On Big Als List, & Consider Buying An Ad In The Cruisin' Times Magazine
9. Pass Flyers Out At Other Local Car Shows
